National Junior Art Honors Society
About
National Junior Art Honors Society (NJAHS) is open to 7th and 8th grade students.
Applications are due in April for the following school year. This is a nationally recognized honors art club that works on more in depth art concepts and skills. Students work on their own individual projects and develop an artistic portfolio to take with them to high school. Students are required to do community service hours and submit artwork into national competitions.
We will meet Thursdays from 2:45-4:00pm in the Art Room, 216, starting August 22, 2024. NJAHS members will also have the opportunity to participate in several field trips throughout the year and various art activities throughout the community.
The Spring 2025 NJAHS Induction Ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 5-6pm in the RLMS Gym.
